Biology Department

Recognizing a growing demand for skilled professionals in the sciences, Simpson University’s Biology Department is dedicated to equipping students for service in biology-related fields.

The department continues to expand, with new science labs added in 2007 and an exciting campaign under way to fund a new Science Building.

This academic area includes a Biology major and Pre-Nursing certificate program. The Biology major equips students to pursue graduate studies or professional school.

The Pre-Nursing program, launched in 2007, provides foundational coursework and prerequisites for admission to a dedicated nursing program.

Students who enter programs within the Biology Department receive personalized, hands-on instruction from skilled, caring professors committed to Christ-centered academic excellence.
