Business Alumni Quotes

Kara Chilson - Grad 2005

I now work at Redding Radio as the Manager of Business Operations.  I never would have imagined I could be in sales someday, but with the skills I learned from Simpson I've found that I can do anything I put my mind to.  Numerous times I've pulled out my old text books to refer to material there.  Not only have I been able to use the business skills I learned from Simpson, but I've also had the opportunity to be a light to those around me.  Being 'in the world' can be tough at times, but because I am not 'of this world', I have the ability to have a huge impact on my coworkers.

Beth Fraser - Grad 2002

The personal relationships formed while in the business program at Simpson have made all the difference for me. Everything I’ve gained through this program - from technical classroom knowledge to practical business experience - has been significant to me because of the connections I’ve been able to make with professors, classmates, and other community members. Simpson is unique to me because of the sincere compassion shown by the faculty and staff – they are honestly interested in the vocational, spiritual, personal and creative development of each student.

Marty Bullock - Grad 2000

The business program at Simpson develops students into knowledgeable Christian business men and woman.  Through presentations, marketing and business plans, reports, case studies, and tests, the business program prepared me for the activities I do in my present vocation (financial advisor).   Also, the professors in the business program have taken a vested interest in my success both academically and professionally.

David Vandyke - Grad 1994

Simpson allowed me to meet my beautiful wife Kelly.  We have three children.  At Simpson I learned many of the skill sets that have allowed me to be a deacon at my local church, manage the local (Redding) Merrill Lynch office, as well as preside as Chairman of the Board for Mike Silva Evangelism.  Simpson has been a real blessing in my life.
