Purpose
Our purpose is to train and equip Simpson University students to go out into the world with compassion for the unloved, to serve the needy and to evangelize the lost, making a global impact for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Vision
Our vision is to develop long-term partnerships with missionaries and mission organizations around the world. Our desire is to reinforce relationships already established and to develop new relationships for the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God.
How it all works...
Every year Simpson University sends out approximately 20 mission teams to minister all over the world. The teams participate in a variety of ministries such as working with orphans, evangelism, service and building projects.
All of our summer mission teams are student-led. Each fall, we begin the process of selecting leaders for the next summer. We often talk with students who have participated in previous mission teams, and students that we know have a heart for missions. We have a large network of contacts all over the world that we partner with in sending teams.
