Name:  Ed Klose, Resident Director

Hometown:  Yaphank, NY

Education Experience: Ed graduated from Simpson College in Redding with a B.A. in Christian Leadership Development. He is continuing his education at Simpson University Graduate School. He holds a License of Ministry with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and is pursuing his ordination. He has been involved in college age ministry for the past sixteen years, serving as a pastor in Connecticut and a small group leader and elder at Risen King Church. Here at Simpson he has served as a Student Activities Coordinator and now as an RD. He is now in his 11th year at Simpson.

Interests:  Most of all, Ed loves being with his wife and children. He has been married to Grethe since 1978, and they have two children, Aaron 22, who is a Corporal serving in the US Marine Corp., and Hannah 17, who is in her senior year of high school at Foothill. Ed loves a variety of outdoor activities from cycling to kayaking and snowshoeing. He enjoys cooking and reading.

Interesting Fact:  Ed served in the US Navy and has been to Spain, Gibraltar, Italy, Germany, Greece, and Morocco.

What do you love about Simpson?  I love the community of students and staff. There is nothing more amazing than watching God work in and through the lives of our students as they develop into the men and women whom God is shaping them into.
