We are pleased that you are interested in joining the Simpson community. Our application process is designed to give us a well-rounded picture of you as a potential candidate for admission. Please follow these instructions carefully as you apply. Address all correspondence to the Office of Enrollment Services, or e-mail us at admissions@simpsonuniversity.edu.

Complete and submit the Application for Admission (non-refundable $25 application fee required). This application is available online.

Give the Spiritual Reference to someone in church leadership (e.g., youth pastor, Bible study leader) who is well-acquainted with your Christian life. Ask him or her to send the reference to us as soon as possible.

Complete and submit a statement of English language proficiency (available online).

Complete and submit a declaration and certification of finances demonstrating ability to pay. International students must have guaranteed means of support to study in the United States for their entire college career. Simpson cannot issue the Form I-20 until adequate confirmation of the guaranteed means of support in the necessary amount for the first year has been received. In some cases, an advanced deposit may be required before the Form I-20 is issued.

Have an official copy of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination score sent to Simpson University. A score of 500 or better is required for the paper-based examination.

Complete and submit the Application for I-20 form.

Request that the official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you have attended be sent directly to us at the address below. Direct mailing from the school to us is essential. Transcripts must bear the official school seal and signature of the appropriate official (e.g., Registrar). (Transcript requests available online)

On occasion, you may be asked to complete an in-progress, mid-term grade report form. When this form is requested, please have each professor complete one and return promptly (Academic Progress Form).
