Brandy Liebscher, Psy.D.

Profile:

Dr. Brandy Liebscher is a licensed psychologist who joined Simpson University’s faculty in 2002. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings and a completed a postdoctoral residency in which she received specialized training in the treatment of children and families.

Dr. Liebscher teaches courses related to clinical psychology, including Theories of Counseling, Counseling Skills, and Psychopathology. In her private practice she provides psychotherapy for children and adults, with an emphasis on mood and behavioral disorders. Dr. Liebscher’s areas of interest and study include child psychology, domestic violence, and the integration of psychology and Christianity

Danielle Beck, Ph.D. candidate.

Profile:

Danielle Beck is completing the final stages of her doctoral work in Developmental Psychology at the University of Washington. She investigates the development of executive function/self-regulation in young children and has collaborated with some of the leading researchers in this area.

Professor Beck joined Simpson University’s faculty in 2008 and teaches Introduction to Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, Child Development, and Research Experience.
