Residential Student Information

The Residence Hall Check-In Procedure

  • Students will receive their room assignment upon check-in at the Welcome Center.
  • The Resident Director (RD) and Resident Assistant (RA) will issue a room key and room checklist for the student to fill out.
  • Students will list any damage to the room prior to moving in.
  • Volunteers will be on hand to assist students and parents in moving boxes.

What to Bring

  • Bedding (sheets, pillows, comforter, mattress pad) for regular twin-size beds (unless you have specifically requested an extra-long bed)
  • Clothes that fit the dress code regulations
  • Room decorations -- pictures, lights (no halogen bulbs), etc.
  • Bathroom Accessories
  • Shower curtain
  • Shower mat
  • Laundry hamper
  • Phone
  • More Packing Suggestions

  • Dishes and hot pot (water boiler) 

What Not to Bring

  • Anything that needs to be hung with a bolt or thick nail
