Working with English Learners Coordinating Outreach, Methodology and Evaluation

The grant-funded Project WELCOME is comprehensive training program for credentialed teachers, paraprofessionals, pre-service teachers, and parents to better serve English language learners in Shasta, Tehama, Siskiyou and Trinity Counties. It is a partnership between Simpson University, Shasta College and the Shasta County Office of Education  that provides free ELL (English Language Learner) certification training for credentialed teachers and free workshops for paraprofessionals and prospective teachers.
