Cross Country finishes in the top five in Mills Invitational

Both men’s and women’s cross country teams were able to finish in the top in the Mills Invitational. Freshmen Abednego Magut highlighted the event as he took first place in 8k. Freshmen Ezra Mutai was a highlight as he came in fifth place.

For the women, sophomore Lynette Garringer came in 9th place and sister and junior Katie Garringer came in 11th in the 5k.

Simpson will look to continue the fast improves as they head to Salem, Oregon this weekend for the Willamette Invitational.
