Master's College Alyssa Foster Transfers to Simpson

Master’s College sophomore Alyssa Foster (6’2 Post) has decided to transfer to Simpson University for the 2008-2009 season. Alyssa has played two seasons with Master’s College, both season reaching the NAIA I National Tournament.

Coach Pringle, Jr. states, “I am extremely excited about Alyssa becoming a member of the Lady Red Hawk Basketball Program. She is a great person as well as a great player. Alyssa will be an immediate impact to team and to the community.”

Alyssa is originally from Helena, MT. She was a four-year lettermen at Helena Christian HS were she started her final three years in the post. She averaged 15ppg as a sophomore, leading the Bengals to a berth in the Montana Christian Athletic Association State Tournament and earning all-state honors in the process…a year later, the Bengals placed second at the state tournament, she was named MCAA MVP, and repeated on the all-state team after throwing in 17ppg…capped one of the most brilliant careers in school history as a senior, tossing in 18ppg and grabbing 8rpg…set a single-season, school record with 92% accuracy from the free throw line…made it a three-peat with first-team, all-state accolades after leading the Bengals to a third-place finish at the state tourney.
