Tough loss for Women’s Soccer
Sarah Lillie had a game high of eleven saves against NCAA II non-conference opponent Humboldt State University on Friday, but her great performance was not enough to win the game for the Red Hawks, and the Lumberjacks won 2-0.
HSU Lumberjack coach Andy Cumbo complimented the Lady Red Hawks, saying, “Their whole team played with heart and determination”.
The loss brings the Lady Red Hawks to 0-3, but they will look to rebound on Tuesday, September 11th at 7:00pm, when Oregon Tech comes to Redding. The game will be held at Redding Soccer Park.
