Vanguard take visitors into overtime before falling

Coming into today's game, Dominican University was tied for second place in California Pacific Conference play with a 4-1 record.  Simpson entered with a 1-4 record, but took everything the visitor's had before falling 1-0 in overtime.

Before a crowd of 250 spectators the host Vanguards put on a spectacular defensive fight.  The game went into overtime tied 0-0 before a Dominican goal ended the shut-out. 

The Vanguards drop to 5-8 on the year and 1-4 in the Cal-Pac.  They will host Bethany College in a 3pm game on Wednesday.
