Simpson Hosts Harlan Carter Luncheon
Local prep hoops tourney visits campus

Over 100 high school boys basketball players came on campus Friday for the Harlan Carter Tournament Luncheon.
The luncheon was held at the Heritage Student Life Center for the eight teams participating in the 35th Annual Tournament being held at Enterprise High School.
Simpson University is a sponsor of the tournament and hosted the first-ever tournament luncheon to help educate and promote continued education and college athletics.
Athletic staff as well as players were present representing Simpson University. Vice President of Marketing and Development Gordon Flinn also spoke about Simpson. Simpson University also donated raffle prizes for attendees.
The Tournament began on Thursday and continues through Saturday at Enterprise High School.
The ladies tournament is being held next weekend at Foothill High School.
