Ladies Start Cal Pac Perfect 2-0

Red Hawks Beat William Jessup, Pacific Union

The Lady Red Hawks got their California Pacific Conference campaign off with a bang as they defeated both William Jessup and Pacific Union over the weekend. 

After struggling to find their shooting touch so far this season, the Lady Red Hawks busted out and shot a sizzling 50% from the field in a 60-50 win over rival William Jessup.
 
Freshman Sara Fairburn(Fr., Spokane, WA) took over at points, scoring 24 points off 10-of-15 shooting.  Nicole Hall(Sr., Jackson) also had a strong game, scoring 14 points, grabbing seven rebounds and three steals.

A night later, Simpson moved to 2-0 in Cal Pac play as they pounded visiting Pacific Union 56-26.  Fairburn and Hall led the way again for the Red Hawks.  

Fairburn registered a double-double as she knocked home 12 points to go with an incredible 13 rebounds.  Hall hit 9-of-19 shots and scored 20 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and picked up four steals and three assists.

The Lady Red Hawks are back in action as they travel to Bethany University and Menlo College this weekend.
