Red Hawks fall 3-1 to Cascade

The men's soccer team's short two-game winning streak was snapped as they lost 3-1 to Cascade College Tuesday afternoon in Portland, OR.

Cascade got on the board just four minutes in off the foot of Travis Ray and Adalverto Angulo netted two goals for the Thunderbirds in the win.

Joel Slagle (Jr., Palo Cedro) brought Simpson to within 2-1 halfway through the second half as he flicked home a cross from Tim Altero (Jr., White Plains, NY).  That is close as the Red Hawks would come though as they were outshot 12-8.

The Red Hawks look to bounce back as they host Bethany University at 4 p.m. Saturday in a California Pacific Conference match.
