Baldwin Named Cal Pac Player of the Week

Junior had 59 kills at NCCAA Tournament

     Junior Brittany Baldwin (Jr., Palo Cedro) as named California Pacific Conference Player of the Week after racking up 59 kills at the NCCAA DI National Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota.

     The middle hitter posted team-highs in kills in three of their four matches at the tournament.  She nearly led Simpson to a come-from-behind win over Trinity International with 20 kills, nine digs, and seven blocks.

     Baldwin racked up 16 kills in matches against Mt. Vernon Nazarene and Northwestern University.

     Baldwin and the Lady Red Hawks finish their season on Saturday when they host Pacific Union at 7 p.m.
