Lady Red Hawks Win 5-game Thriller

Come from behind to beat Bethany

    After dropping the first two games 29-31 and 29-31, the Simpson University women's volleyball team rebounded for a big come-from-behind win over host Bethany University.

    Senior Carly Bagshaw (MB, Red Bluff) had a huge night as she recorded 12 kills, four aces, and 11 blocks.  Leah Reginato (So., Palo Cedro) tallied 10 kills, while Kayla Comer (Jr., Red Bluff) dished out 28 assists in the win.

    A night later, the Lady Red Hawks became just the second team all season to take even a single game in conference from undefeated Menlo College.  Simpson became the first team to win a game on Menlo's home court this year.

     Bagshaw and Brittany Baldwin (Jr., Palo Cedro) racked up 10 kills each for Simpson, who lost the match 18-30, 30-28, 20-30, 17-30.
