Bagshaw, Comer Headline All Cal Pac Selections

Three Red Hawks receive honors

    Senior Carly Bagshaw (Red Bluff) and junior Kayla Comer (Red Bluff) were selected as 1st Team All California Pacific Conference (Cal Pac) by the coaches this weekend.

   Bagshaw has led the Cal Pac in kills for the majority of the season and finished her conference campaign with 160 kills in 44 games (3.6 per game) while hitting over 20%.  The award makes it back-to-back All Conference for the senior, who played in her final collegiate game on Saturday.

   A three-time Cal Pac Setter of the Week in 2006, Comer leads the Cal Pac in assists with 448 (10.2 a game).  She also finished with a league-high 38 aces in 44 games.

   Joining Bagshaw and Comer as All Conference selections is junior Brittany Baldwin (Palo Cedro), who was named 2nd Team All Cal Pac.  Baldwin finished the season among the conference leaders in kills (111), kill percentage (19%), and digs (135).
