Academic Resources
There are several resources available that can be helpful to your studies and experience:
- Library and Writing Center
- CLEP Testing
Library and Writing Center
With designated group and silent study areas, the Start-Kilgour Memorial Library is a good place for students to do homework or work on research projects. The 90,000-volume library provides access to the Internet and a wealth of online resources The university's writing center -- located in the library but supervised by Simpson's English professors and staffed by English majors -- offers assistance to students who need help to improve their writing skills.
CLEP Testing
CLEP (College Level Examination Program) testing gives students a chance to get credit for information they already know. See our or visit the College Board website for more information. You can also contact Simpson's Registrar's Office at (530) 226-4111 or 1-888-9-SIMPSON.
