Theater Minor

Simpson University introduced its new drama program, complete with Theater minor and a black-box theater in the fall of 2006. Now the program is in full swing with tours, performances, more classes and students eager to act and direct!

Under the direction of instructor Carolyn Murray and a troupe of aspiring actors the theatre held its first production, "The Importance of Being Earnest", in the fall of 2006. A One-Act Festival, directed by students and instructor Murray, followed in Spring, 2007.
