Fulltime undergraduate Simpson students are entitled to eight (8) counseling sessions per school year, the cost of which is included in student fees. Should a student need additional sessions, a reasonable fee will be charged for each session.
Community members may access counseling services on a fee basis, depending upon the availability of staff. ASPIRE, credentialing, and part-time students are a part of this population. Faculty and staff may access services through employee assistance services.

Providing a Referral
If you feel that a student you know would benefit from counseling, it is usually best to express your care and concern for their well being by communicating directly with the student, recommending counseling, but allowing them to make his or her own decision. If immediate help is needed, offer to call the Counseling Center or the Resident Director on duty.
