Simpson Breezes Through Multnomah Tournament

Women's Volleyball - Portland, OR (9/23/2007)

Simpson University Volleyball team went 4-0 in the Multnomah Bible College Invitational in Portland, OR. The invitational started on Friday, September 21, with Simpson beating Walla Walla University in 4 games (31-29, 30-16-24-30, 30-27). That same day Simpson beat Linefield JV in three games (30-25, 30-21, 30-21). On Saturday Simpson square off with tournament host Multnomah Bible College and defeated them in 4 games (30-12, 30-9, 30-32, 30-19) and to finish off the weekend Simpson defeated conference rivial William Jessup University in three games (30-27, 30-20, 30-23)

The four wins brings Simpson to 8-4 record overall and 3-1 in the Cal Pac Conference. The Lady Red Hawks will return to action next Friday against Menlo College in Atherton, CA.
